Meetings

  • How often do you meet?

The Lodge has six regular meetings each year. Those regular meetings are supported by six business meetings each year where members plan events, rehearse ceremonies and generally catch-up with one another. The families and friends of members are important to the Lodge, so informal social events are also encouraged and well attended.

  • When do you meet?

The Lodge’s season begins with Installation in October and ends in April the following year. Regular meetings are held on the third Wednesday of October, November, January, February, March and April. Business meetings and rehearsals are held on the fourth Wednesday of those same months. All meetings generally start at 6:00 p.m.

  • Where do you meet?

All regular and business meetings are held at Severn Street Masonic Hall, 60 Severn Street, Birmingham, West Midlands, B1 1QG.

  • What happens during your meetings?

Regular Meetings - the three ceremonies of Initiation, Passing, and Raising all occur during the Lodge’s regular meetings, along with presentations, talks and administration. This meeting is followed by a dinner, known to Freemasons as the Festive Board, which provides an opportunity to enjoy one another’s company in a relaxed setting.

Officers Meetings - this is where the Lodge’s officers plan the activities of its regular meetings and rehearse ceremonies.

Please visit our events page for details about upcoming meetings.

  • Can I visit your meetings?

The Lodge warmly welcomes Freemasons to visit its meetings. To allow for appropriate arrangements, Freemasons interested in visiting should contact the Secretary first.
